Summer Assignments are due Monday, August 10th, 2026!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we enter into a well-deserved summer break, we would like to emphasize the importance of completing summer reading and academic assignments.

Research shows that students can experience the "summer slide". This is a loss of academic skills that can occur when learning is not reinforced during the summer months. Even a small amount of consistent reading and mathematics practice can make a significant difference in helping students hold on to the progress they have worked so hard to achieve during the school year. Our summer assignments encourage students to continue developing critical reading, writing, and thinking skills and helps students return to school feeling confident, prepared, and ready to build upon their previous year's success.

Families play an integral role in supporting summer learning. Dedicating time for reading, discussing books together, and encouraging students to complete their assignments can help establish positive learning habits and prevent learning loss.

Thank you for your continued commitment to your child's education. We wish you a wonderful summer filled with learning, exploration, and great books!

We are so excited to embark on the 2026-2027 school year with you,
