Our Philosophy is based on a developmental approach that emphasizes learning through play. Activities for each developmental stage are selected to encourage and challenge our students without rushing them into learning a skill they are not yet prepared for. This concept is supported by years of research in the area of child development by theorists such as Vygotsky and Piaget. While these philosophers may differ on how play influences cognitive development, both agree that play is the building block for children’s construction of knowledge. 
 

We strive to provide preschoolers with an early learning experience that will foster self-confidence and creativity while teaching them to read, write, solve math problems, and get along with others. We do this by creating an environment that is safe, fun, age-appropriate and nurturing. By doing so, we set the framework for fostering age-appropriate learning experiences that are memorable and achievable.
